How to set up a guest receipt printer
Please follow the steps described here to connect the guest receipt printer that you receive in your starter kit to your workstation.
How to set up a guest printer as a kitchen printer
You can use your guest receipt printer as a kitchen printer as well. To do so, during installation, when asked where you want your kitchen receipts to be printed, choose the same printer that you set up as guest receipt printer.
How to set up a kitchen printer
If you initially chose to buy a kitchen printer from the additional hardware kit and already have it available, during installation you will be prompted to select it from the list of available printers and connect it to the workstation.
If you wish to purchase a kitchen printer later on, you may:

purchase the printer (and compatible cable) from the Hardware store of your restaurant admin panel.
or -
purchase from an alternative store of your choice. Please be aware that the printer you choose should have a LAN connection. The following printers are compatible with the POS workstation:
- Epson TM-T88 (II, III, IV, V, VI)
- Epson TM-U220B

To set up a kitchen printer, access the restaurant admin panel -> Point of Sale -> Printers section and select the Add custom printer button:
Then add the name for the custom printer and select one of the available IP addresses for the printer. Afterwards, Save the printer settings:
IMPORTANT: The IP address that you select in this section of the admin panel needs to be same IP address that you set up within the printer network settings.

How to set up the printer IP address
To set up the printer IP address you may use, for example, the Epson Utility app available for both Android and iOS mobile devices or the instructions for STATIC / MANUAL IP address from the User manual of your printer:
Once the IP address has been set up, go to Menu Setup section of the restaurant admin panel, access any menu item and from the item settings drop-down, go to the Prints to section.
Click on Manage destinations:
Select Add destination:
Provide a name for the destination printer and assign your custom printer to it:
The newly added printer should look as shown in the screenshot below:
IMPORTANT: Once the printer has been set up as shown above the first step you need to do is perform an Update Database from the Manager Procedures section within the workstation:
The contact Support and let them know you have connected a printer so that they may perform the final settings from backend.
