The additional equipment is available for purchase, designed to support efficiency and improve the restaurant’s operations. For example:

  • Workstations (with or without guest display) - for restaurants with multiple service areas (e.g., indoor and outdoor table area, busy coffee shops with multiple ordering stations). Multiple workstations help staff take orders and manage checks more efficiently, reducing wait times for guests.
  • Cash drawers - in setups with multiple ordering points and workstations, extra cash drawers ensure smoother, more organized transactions at each station.
  • Countertop payment devices - similarly, if there are multiple workstations to take orders, more connected payment devices may also be needed.
  • Guest display - while it may seem optional, a guest-facing display allows customers to verify their order in real time. It helps reduce errors and improves transparency.
  • Additional printers - The starter kit includes one front-of-house printer, that by default can print guest-facing receipts. Some restaurants choose to set it also to print their kitchen tickets, while others need one or more printers set up directly in the kitchen, or in different food preparation stations in the kitchen, to streamline communication between servers and back-of-house staff.
  • More RFID cards - to log in to workstations, in packs of 10.

The additional hardware can be ordered together with the starter kit or later. Consider the restaurant’s operations and layout carefully and select the hardware needed it to support them. If you anticipate an expansion or increased demand, you can select and order hardware to support the restaurant’s growth.
