The Order anonymously setting allows food clients to place On premise orders via QR code scanning (such as table, seat, room or sunbed orders) without entering their personal contact details - offering a faster ordering experience at the restaurant location.
Restaurant managers can enable or disable anonymous ordering for on premise orders directly in the admin panel (Setup -> Services & opening hours -> On premise):

- Restaurants that already have the On premise service enabled will have the setting disabled and can quickly enable it from their account.
- Restaurants that will enable the On premise service after this setting is made available will have the setting enabled by default and can disable it if they want to collect food client data from their On premise orders.
Anonymous food clients will not be eligible for promotions that require client identification (e.g. promotions available once per client/new/old clients only) and will not be targeted by Autopilot campaigns.
In the Order-taking app (recommended version 2.5.9):
- Order titles show table/seat/room number as relevant.
- Contact details do not appear in order details.
If the Order anonymously setting is enabled, in the ordering widget:
- Ordering method cannot be changed when accessing the widget via the On Premise QR code.
- Card details cannot be saved for anonymous orders.
- Food clients receive the order confirmation as a PDF download.
In restaurant reports, anonymous orders will listed as “N/A” client details and can be filtered as needed:
